The project consists of the design of a new public space that will host the Center for Contemporary Culture as well as  commercial, office and cultural spaces to be built between the Hiram Bithorn Stadium and the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in the Municipal Sports Complex in Hato Rey. Until 2010, the Luis Muñoz Marín Park, under the National Parks Company, and the Municipal Sports Complex of San Juan Municipality  were disconnected and divided by large surface parking and a continuous gate. The new public space opens the extraordinary opportunity to re-conceptualize both projects as part of an urbanistic vision and integrated cultural economic development.
